  4. Fortnightly follow up appointments to help remain focused – these sessions will be 20-30 minutes only.

Gentle Detox Juice

‎’WANT TO FEEL GREAT – WANT MORE ENERGY – WANT TO GENTLY DETOX’?
Start your day with with a glass or two of this super food… go on, its yummy. Try it for a week and let me know how incredibly better you feel.
Blend these fresh ingredients:
· 1/2 cup of kale & 1/2 cup of baby spinach leaves
· ½ lime
· 2 tbsps of a mix of green barley, wheatgrass, spirulina or whatever you have
· ½ cup of almonds or 1 tablespoon protein powder
· 2 cups of water
· Add a apple and cucumber if desired

 

 

Brown Onion Soup

This is the soup that we prepare for our in house guests when they are doing a DETOX PROGRAM. It is light, delicious, but packed with nutritional value. Our guests like it so much they ask for the recipe so they can make at home for their friends and family.

It is so quick easy – tastes great and so good for you.

Ingredients:

 1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed

2 brown onions sliced

1 desp extra virgin olive oil

1 teasp tamari or soy sauce

2 teasp massel chicken stock powder

boiling water

Method:

Place olive oil in a saucepan and heat – add sliced onion and cook until softened and turning brown. It will take approx 5 minutes, but keep stirring and watch to avoid burning. Then add the garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Pour in 4 cups of boiling water,  tamari and stock powder. Simmer for 20-30 minutes. The liquid will reduce so you may need to add a little more hot water before straining out the onion. If you leave the onion in the soup it may cause gas and discomfort.

Strain and serve sprinkled with parsley. Serves approximately 2-3 bowls.

It is suitable for freezing – stores well.

Chicken Tomato & Coriander Soup

This is such a beautiful soup – simple to make and can be served hot or cold. Ideal to drink if you are working on a mercury detox.

Ingredients:

3  large carrots peeled and chopped

8  ripe roma tomatoes, peeled and chopped

1  bunch of fresh coriander finely chopped.

¼ teasp powdered coriander

1  tablesp massel chicken stock powder

2  bay leaves

Boiling water to divide

Method:

To prepare the tomatoes – Place whole roma tomatoes into a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Soak for a few minutes and then gently pierce the skin of each tomato. Continue soaking – if skin is not loosening and peeling back, add more boiling water. When you can gently peel all the skin off the tomatoes do so and then chop them and place aside.

In a medium saucepan add carrots, tomatoes, powdered coriander, stock powder and boiling water to almost cover vegetables. Bring to the boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 30 minutes or until all the vegetables are really soft – add chopped fresh coriander and return to heat for another 5 minutes. Remove the bay leaves and then blend or bar mix the soup.

Serve and add cracked pepper.
